Planting design for large gardens

This level of planting design service is focused around large sized gardens of between 500 and 1000 square meters.

Your existing garden may have some good structure and overall it looks good but it may be lacking in seasonal interest, variety in textures or there may be a problematic area where nothing seems to grow well.

Creating a personalised planting plan incorporates both artistic vision and functional design, ensuring that the garden aligns with your needs, environmental factors and long-term sustainability. My approach with a bespoke planting plan is to create gardens that are not just visually stunning, but also meaningful, functional and environmentally considerate.

This service can be remote as long as you are able to share your visions with me over a video call, provide multiple pictures, walk through video of the garden space and accurate dimensions with me.

This service will include:

• A summary of our discussion and vision for the garden.
• A 2D planting plan illustrating the existing plant positions of plants that will remain and then positioning of the new plantings, labelled individually.
• A detailed planting list with associated quantities.
• The planting plan will be carefully selected to align with Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) principles. This includes prioritizing native or pollinating-friendly species of plants, enhancing habitat diversity and ensuring sustainable, long term ecological benefits. The design aims to contribute positively to the local ecosystem while meeting or exceeding statutory BNG requirements.
• Garden maintenance schedule to give you the full overview of the care that the garden will require. This can be passed on to your garden maintenance contractor to ensure the best results in aftercare.
